This site was created to divulge current social issues that seem to keep getting brushed aside. The world we live in now is more advanced than ever, yet the same struggles we faced long ago still have not been resolved. Equality is non-existent in both race and sex and it is evident in our daily lives. We are continually advancing in technology but at the same time, we’re destroying our world. We are one of the wealthiest countries in the world, yet 36.5 million people live in poverty. How can anything improve when most of us know more about celebrities than we do about our own country? What world are we going to leave behind for the future generations? By not acting, we are destroying what good we have left. It’s time to stop turning our heads away from problems and to start dealing with them.

The Design
The Paris Hilton Statue of Liberty design came from my view of the world today. I was sketching and thought of what statue of liberty representing our life style now would look like. I designed the image to show the flaws in our society and also the actual statue to represent how women are supposed to look today. The layout was created on Adobe Photoshop CS2. With a lot of inspiration and motivation it took many hours. About 600 vector shapes later, it took form.
